SON BONET MAJORCA
Son Bonet airport is the island of Majorca's GA airport it's situated about 8 Kilometers north west of the main airport of Palma, at Pont D' Inca. From Palma take the C-713 towards Marratxi and come off on the Pont D' Inca Junction you can see the hangars from the road. If you are at Palma airport go to the roundabout in Son Ferriol which is north of the airport and take the Pont D' Inca turning you should go over two roundabouts and after a couple of kilometers you will see the hangars take a left at the next junction and you will go pass the main entrance.
It has a single runway 06/24.Aircraft from all over Europe can be seen here. The airport is also home to Sloane Helicopters who have a flying school here. Also can be seen are some PZL M18A Dromader as well as air tractors which are used as fire bombers, a derelict DC 3 is also on the airfield.
When I visited I found everyone to be very friendly and was able to walk airside to take photo's but check in with security on the gate first.
